Quick Verdict
Reviewed by FX Advisor Pro Research Team Β· Last checked August 2026
MultiBank Group is a large multi-entity broker with licences listed in many countries and a wide product range, but public feedback is split: independent reviewers rate it well, while Trustpilot withholds its TrustScore and WikiFX scores it 1.69 out of 10 with a frequent-complaints warning. Check which legal entity your account would be with, read the bonus terms before accepting any bonus, and try a small withdrawal early.
Pros
- Standard account opens from $50, with a swap-free (Islamic) account available
- Three account types: Standard (1.5 pips, no commission), Pro (from 0.8 pips) and ECN (from 0.0 pips)
- Entities listed with several regulators, including ASIC, CySEC, BaFin and MAS
- MT4 and MT5 plus social/copy trading; deposits by card, bank transfer and crypto (BTC, USDT)
Cons
- Trustpilot shows no TrustScore for the company and reports of delayed or blocked withdrawals are frequent
- WikiFX score is 1.69 out of 10, with 'frequent complaints' and 'offshore regulation' tags

- The broker's own risk warning says you can lose more than you deposit
- $60 monthly inactivity fee after 90 days without trading (per ForexBrokers.com and CompareForexBrokers)
- High minimum deposits for Pro ($1,000) and ECN ($10,000)
Regulatory Status & Safety
MultiBank Group is a group of separate companies. Its website lists a Dubai head office and, by country: MEX Markets (Australia, ASIC), MEX Europe Ltd (Cyprus, CySEC), MEX Asset Management (Germany, BaFin; Austria, FMA), MEX Global Markets (Singapore, MAS), MEX Global Financial Services (UAE, CMA), and offshore entities in the Cayman Islands (MEX Atlantic Corporation, CIMA), the British Virgin Islands (MultiBank FX International, FSC) and Vanuatu (MEX Pacific, VFSC), plus others in Mauritius, Seychelles, India and China. The site says it has '18+' regulators but lists 15. Third-party listings give the ASIC licence number as 416279 (issued 2012). Which regulator and which protections apply depends on the entity in your account agreement: according to CompareForexBrokers, Australian and EU retail clients are held to 30:1 leverage on major pairs, while the 1:1000 leverage the group advertises is offered through the offshore entities. The licences above are as listed by MultiBank, WikiFX and other reviewers and have not been checked on the regulators' own registers, so confirm the exact entity and licence number before you deposit. WikiFX marks some of the group's licences as revoked, unverified or anomalous (it names DFSA, CIMA and Seychelles).

User Reviews & Public Reputation
Trustpilot shows about 1,800 reviews for MultiBank Group (82% five-star, 11% one-star), but no TrustScore: the page says the company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of Trustpilot's guidelines, and that Trustpilot removed a number of fake reviews for the company. Positive reviews praise support staff and smooth deposits and withdrawals. Negative reviews describe withdrawals delayed, held or blocked (sometimes citing 'bonus abuse' or compliance checks), reduced balances, restricted accounts and claims of unauthorised trades; the company replies to most recent reviews with templated messages. WikiFX scores the broker 1.69 out of 10 (October 2026), tags it 'Frequent Complaints' and 'High Potential Risk', and lists it on its complaint blacklist; its articles cite more than 600 user complaints in a three-month window, which are individual allegations that we have not verified. Independent reviewers are more positive: BrokerChooser rates it 4.3 out of 5 and CompareForexBrokers 80.3 out of 100, though CompareForexBrokers' own review log lists register checks and deposit and withdrawal tests as not done. We have not tested deposits or withdrawals ourselves.
Deposits, Withdrawals & Fees
Deposits: credit and debit cards and local online payment channels (instant), bank and wire transfers (1-3 business days according to CompareForexBrokers), SEPA transfers within the Eurozone (minimum 250 euro), and crypto from your own wallet (BTC, USDT on ERC20 or TRC20). BrokerChooser also lists e-wallets such as Neteller and Skrill, depending on country. BrokerChooser and CompareForexBrokers report no internal deposit or withdrawal fees, though your bank or provider may charge. An inactivity fee of $60 a month applies after 90 days without trading. Client money is said to be held separately from company money in tier-1 banks, and MEX Atlantic clients are covered by a Lloyd's of London policy of up to $1,000,000 per account (the broker's statements, not independently checked). The site we read does not mention negative balance protection.
Red Flags & Controversies
1) Trustpilot withholds the company's rating for a breach of its guidelines and says it removed fake reviews. 2) WikiFX gives a low score, lists the group on its complaint blacklist and reports many withdrawal complaints, including clients in Malaysia who say they had under 14 days to close positions after the group left that market (individual allegations, not verified). 3) Bonuses: the site advertises a 25% deposit bonus, and some complaints say profits were cancelled for 'bonus abuse', so read the bonus terms first. 4) The broker's own risk warning says losses can exceed your deposit. 5) Regulatory history: in 2021 the Dubai regulator DFSA warned that introducing brokers falsely said certain MultiBank entities were DFSA-authorised, and in 2022 it said MEX Australia Pty Ltd had voluntarily withdrawn its DFSA licence; Spain's CNMV removed the group's authorisation in early 2022 after it chose to stop serving Spain; WikiFX also reports later CNMV and AMF (France) warnings about unauthorised websites using the name. In November 2024 the DFSA fined a marketing firm, Vedas, USD 100,000 for unauthorised promotions of the group and said it made no allegations against the group itself. In March 2026 BaFin warned about mexassetexchange.com, which posed as part of MultiBank Group and appears to have no tie to it, so only use the group's own website. 6) Marketing claims such as '2M+ clients' and '80+ awards' come from the broker and are not independently verified.
